Lajja title music. Amazing melody in this.

Chandrasehar - Yes. It is an amazing melody. It beautifully flows with the visuals.

is it katradhu thamizh? if yes i think the main theme melody was copied from some IR song

Why dunt u do a analysis on lajja? it certainly is one of the most underrated scores in HFM history.

Ramesh - No. But your intuition about the feel of the music is right.

Chandrasehar - Though the background score is apt, it is really difficult for me to sit through this movie.

Lajja by Ilaiyaraaja Symphony conducted at Budapest orchestra for the first time..
Great music for not so great film.

Great music director in a not so encouraging country.

My favorite. Lajja title song. Btw, did it remind you of Mandhira Punnagaiyo from Mandhira Punnagai by any chance?

Suresh Kumar said...

Saraks - Yes, it has the same feel as that of 'Mandhira Punnagayo'.

the beginning is taken from his ownpiece in mahanadhi, the eerie veena bit..here it sinks with the title choir...the main melody is taken from one of his own songs...veetuku oru magan from ponnu ooruku puthusu..but look at the improvisation..it says that he has put sucha western classical scoe toa shit movie like ponnu ooruku puthusu..
