Interesting. Instead of the many generic romantic comedy scores being churned out these days, this actually sounds fresh and melodious. Thanks for the links!

Demonstar - True. It should sound refreshing to listen these pieces with the visuals.

Interestingly, Rahman need not work hard for this, he just has to do what always does in Indian films, and it would sound refreshingly different on a English movie..

I admire how he is able to convince the creative team to go in for this kind of score..

And I don't know about the release of the soundtrack yet and I guess it should be out on the same week as the movie's release

The story is about couples spending their vacation in island.The music has to be exotic I guess..

And I hope this inspires other studios in Hollywood to cast Rahman for their movies..I'd love Disney's movies with Rahman's score

yet tarana reminds me jumbalika and journey of life reminds me of rathriyil puthirikum (illayaraja)

I like the second track in your list. But wondering why its not there in the official release
