This piece is a compilation of similar background pieces scored for similar situations from 3 different movies Padayappa, Jeans and Boys in that order. A.R.Rahman scored the background score for all the 3 movies. Rahman has a way of tweaking the instrument sounds and exploring and experimenting in the usage of musical instruments fresh and new on a situation. He chooses Hindustani style and this type of Tabla rhythms and heavy bass lines for such situations where the protagonist is suddenly separated from one of their dearest due to a clash or misunderstanding.
