I loved this soundtrack though it wasn't as quirky or extraordinary as it was expected. While watching the film, i wasn't too conscious about the score's similarities with that of the earlier ones.P.S. A very early prediction. Great!

BTW, got to watch 'Avatar' only recently, what with Satyam being housefull all-the-time, and the score was such a disappointment for me coming from James Horner. I felt he just recycled his brilliant Titanic score all over again and put it here. If there were choral voices there, he replaces them with tribal chants here. How much ever apt it was for the visuals of Cameron, the memories of the ship-sinking movie while visually I was in Pandora was not at all comfortable.Muthuvelnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2995232424873037966.post-63648829662176519632010-03-08T00:56:44.129-08:002010-03-08T00:56:44.129-08:00Hi suresh, i really like ur post on the soundtrack...Hi suresh, i really like ur post on the soundtrack of Up. But I think Giacchino adapted it as an instrumental to fit the scene in the film.Ravi Krishnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05492358160683508098noreply@blogger.com
